Stade Rennes logically lost on Seville FC (1-0) on Wednesday night on the second day of the Champions League group stage.

After their draw against Krasnodar, the Bretons are last in their group. 

Rennes resisted for a long time before folding.

The Rennes, suffering on the lawn of Sevilla FC, logically bowed (1-0) on the second day of the group stage of the Champions League.

The Bretons, who resisted the Andalusians in suffering during the first 45 minutes, finally gave in on a goal from Luuk de Jong (55th).

Julien Stéphan's men, forced to compose without the two French internationals Steven Nzonzi (suspended) and Eduardo Camavinga (package), also lost to injury their Italian central defender Daniele Rugani and their midfielder Benjamin Bourigeaud. 

After their draw against Krasnodar, they are bottom of their group, tied with the Russians (1 pt).

Stade Rennes will move to the English side of Chelsea next Wednesday.
