But none of the teams impressed in terms of play, and the chances were basically non-existent.

The first time it became dangerous was only when the match clock had ticked up to minute 78. After a bit of trouble, Falkenberg John Chibuike came through and was almost free just over five meters from goal, but the angle to the left of the goal was difficult and the ball hit was weak and the shot went off target.
Falkenberg had another chance, in extra time.
Anton Wede hit a nice post that Edi Sylisufaj could nod in an open position completely free in front of goal - but over.
Neither Falkenberg nor Kalmar came closer than that, and the match ended 0-0.
Thus, both teams are now one point closer to Helsingborg in qualifying.
HIF is, with one match less played, two points ahead of the jumbo pair.
