NC Dinos, who joined the KBO league as the ninth professional baseball team, won the regular season for the first time.
NC played close to the end of the 12th inning at the 2020 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League home game held at Changwon NC Park and recorded a 3-3 draw with the LG Twins.
With 81 wins, 5 draws and 53 losses, the NC confirmed the championship on their own regardless of the remaining match results and won a direct ticket to the Korean Series.
Founded in 2011, NC played in the Futures League of the 2nd Army in 2012 and competed in earnest on the 1st team stage from 2013.
NC, which settled in the KBO League with 7th place in 2013, advanced to the postseason for the first time, ranking 3rd in the regular season in 2014, and reborn as a strong team by ranking 2nd in 2015 and 2016 and 4th in 2017.
NC, which had stagnated at the bottom in 2018, rebounded to fifth place last season, and was thrilled to win the first regular season in the eighth season of entering the first group this season.
