Aguero is ready to apologize to the flag carrier .. know the only condition

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said his striker Sergio Aguero would never hesitate to apologize to the flag carrier if it turns out that she was upset when the Argentine hit her shoulder during the team's 1-0 victory over Arsenal last week.

Aguero was widely criticized on social media for placing his hand on the shoulder of flag carrier Sian Massey-Ellis when he was protesting against a decision by the assistant referee in the match that took place last Saturday.

At a press conference before City’s Premier League match on Saturday at West Ham United, Guardiola said in response to a journalist’s question, “I did not speak to Sergio about it, but I am fully confident that he will apologize to her without any problem if she feels upset.

"Everyone speaks from outside the stadium, but I know that Sergio did not mean anything and he has done that as always with me inside and outside the stadium or when I embrace him when the switch or when he touches the referee or any opponent."

The Spanish coach added, "Was there aggression (in his behavior) perhaps. But I think it was normal behavior because I know him perfectly. He is a great world star, but he is humble and one of the kindest people I have met throughout my life."

He added, "What is important is intent and intention, and I think it was normal. He did not say any bad words. The situation was normal."

City are ranked 11th among Premier League teams with seven points from four matches.
