For several years, Magnus Ingesson has been Charlotte Kalla's coach and since a while back he is also an important piece in the Swedish national ski team.

The main responsibility for Ingesson has also been the women's national team which is now in Vålådalen and preparing for the season.

"I will have surgery"

But in the midst of the preparations, the coach will leave the Artery for a back operation - an operation that was planned this spring but had to be canceled due to the corona pandemic.

- The disks at the bottom are in trouble and I will have surgery.

I would think that it is due to general wear and tear, says Magnus Ingesson to Aftonbladet.

After the operation, Ingesson will be on sick leave for a while and will miss the first competitions of this year's season.

- We'll see how fast I can come.

It will not be to Bruksvallarna or Ruka, but I might be able to hope for the Davos weekend, says Ingesson.
