Like all other major events, it has been uncertain that the annual enduro competition Gotland Grand National will be run at all.

On Wednesday, however, the green light came from the county administrative board on Gotland and now it's time.

- We have worked very hard with the authorities to corona secure every single step from rolling on the ferry to going to the finish line and going home, says Conny Bohlin.

- And since this is not a public place (Tofta shooting range), we can carry out the competition.

Conny Bohlin is not worried that the competition will contribute to increased infection in society.

- I have reconciliations with the infection control doctor every day and Gotland managed the summer gallantly with 60,000 tourists per week and full restaurants.

Had it not gone well, I would never have pressed the button to start this.

He places a great responsibility on every individual who is in place.

- It is the participant's responsibility.

When they come here, they must take responsibility, and also that the audience does not flock to the forests, then they destroy for us.
