Silfverstrand sees the decision as an intermediate level that can lead to more audiences being admitted later.

- I also hope that the work we do now when we get this opportunity can also show that we can bring in a larger audience later on.

Because we can do it, she says.

TT: You have previously said that it does not matter financially even if you are allowed to bring in 500?

- That's it, from an economic perspective it is that we may be able to meet some of everyone who has bought a season ticket.

It is important to get them in, says Silfverstrand and continues:

- But an important part is that as long as these restrictions remain, we must have a dialogue about continued financial support.

This is a very important issue.

"Strikes in an unfair and unnecessary way"

RF's chairman Björn Eriksson describes the government's message as "gratifying".

- It is a step in the right direction, but we also understand that it is still a serious infection situation.

For many sports associations, the change means a lot, but for some elite sports, it obviously means continued challenges, he says in a press release.

But at the same time, he notes that the rules with a meter distance between the audience hit different organizers differently.

- Sports facilities in Sweden are very varied in their design.

Some have stands with numbered chairs while others have a slope or hill as an audience area.

That the government stuck to the fact that it only applies to chairs and fixed stands is unfortunate and strikes in an unfair and unnecessary way as sports have shown that we can adapt our various activities to the guidelines given, says Eriksson.
