The road to the European Championship


Qualifiers is played in nine groups.

The group winners and the three best runners-up go straight to the European Championship finals.

The other six group runners-up play play-off for the last three places.



The situation in group F


Sweden leads the group, three points ahead of Iceland but with one match more played, and with eleven goals better goal difference.

Two matches remain for Sweden where Iceland is waiting at home on Tuesday 27 October and then Slovakia away on 1 December.
