After the MHSC, the handball club of Montpellier (Hérault) was hit by an avalanche of cases of coronavirus.

The MHB indicated that "PCR screening tests carried out on Wednesday at the René-Bougnol sports hall revealed eleven positive cases" for Covid-19 within the team.

Nine professional players, a player from the training center and a member of the staff are thus positive for the coronavirus.

"The positive cases were isolated for a period of seven days," says the club.

A new test will be carried out next week.

"" The toll is heavy, but the symptoms are for the moment weak, if not nonexistent, however, notes Julien Deljarry, the president of the club, on Twitter.
