Sweden is chasing a European Championship place and will meet Latvia at Gamla Ullevi on Thursday.

But Latvia has received three offers before the meeting.

Olga Sevcova, the only goal scorer most recently against Sweden (1-4) and named the country's best player, is at home for family reasons.

Kristine Girzda and Renate Fedotova have been forced to stay home to work.

- Sevcova is clearly one of their absolute best.

It is clearly a weakening, says Sweden's national team captain Peter Gerhardsson.

- Then everything like that is boring, but quite honestly you are very focused in the football bubble.

I put away everything else, it is my job to focus on football that we should make the best results.

We have the opportunity to go to the European Championships.

That's my job, and do not comment on other things that happen around.

Sweden leads the group after five rounds played and has the same points as second Iceland.

Latvia is last in the qualifying group and has 0 points and 2-30 in goal difference.
