For the first time ever, Malmö FBC and the newcomers IBK Lund met in the ladies' high-profile.

A derby meeting with important points at stake as it was two teams that had a disappointing start and parked last, and second last, respectively in the table.

Malmö had picked up one point in the first four matches and was also the team that was one number bigger.

In an uneventful first period, Lund had the chance to take the lead, but instead it was Malmö's U19 national team player Maja Ekström who scored the historic 1-0 goal.

In the second period, Ekström continued to deliver with another goal and when the away team Lund did not have much forward, Malmö took over more and more.

Second zero in the career

There was never really any talk and when Ebba Flydalen scored her first SSL goal and 3-0 at the end of the second, it felt like Lund started to lose motivation.

- I think we control the match most of the time and only have a few dips when we leave our match plan a little.

We do well and the players make it easy for me in the goal when we defend, says Elin Rosén after the match in Expressen's broadcast.

The goalkeeper kept his second zero in his career - but did not have much to do.

- Matches when you are a little idle can be a little difficult, but you just have to be ready all the time and try to stay focused.

Malmö's first victory of the season means that the team climbs past Jönköping and is new 12th in the table.

Lund remains at zero points and is last in the series.
