The trial against the ice hockey profile accused of sexual harassment against an employee of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association was held today.

The accused, who has connections to the union, was accused of having connected a grip on the plaintiff when she spoke on the phone, and "itched" against her.

The man has always denied and said that he just hugged her amicably.

The person who reported the incident to the police was the union's former information assistant Anders Feltenmark.

Shortly afterwards, he had to leave the union - as the only person who had to leave the job due to lack of work.

Read out statement

He was called to the court as a witness, and after giving his testimony (which took place behind closed doors) he read out a statement which he prepared.

- That the prosecutor brought this to court is very positive for women connected to the Swedish Ice Hockey Association.

The signal that the prosecutor gives is that the culture of silence has now been destroyed and women dare and can speak out, he said, and continued:

- The men have now been informed that such abuses are reported to the police.

The two women (the plaintiff and a witness) who today dared to stand up for their rights can be very proud of what they have achieved.

- When they return to work, I hope they are greeted with chocolate and hailed as the everyday heroes they are.
