The UAE Federation renews the cooperation agreement with the Japanese Federation for 3 years

The UAE Football Association renewed the memorandum of the cooperation and partnership agreement with its Japanese counterpart, the Japanese Federation, for three new years, which include the development of the game in the two countries, and the exchange of technical and administrative experiences.

The ceremony for renewing the agreement, which took place today through visual communication technology, was witnessed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Emirates Federation, and Kozo Tashima, President of the Japanese Federation, as well as Mohammed Abdullah Hazam Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the Football Association, and Kyotaka Suhara, Secretary General of the Japanese Federation.

Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi said: "We have a long relationship with the Japan Football Association, characterized by a lot of respect and professionalism, and we are looking forward to renewing the agreement of understanding that the Football Association had previously signed, which would improve and expand areas of cooperation."

He added: "The Japanese Federation is distinguished by its marketing power in the Yellow Continent, which we look forward to benefiting from, in addition to the continuous development of the Japanese League, clubs and Japanese teams that occupy a prominent position in various continental and international competitions, as well as the professional organization of football tournaments."

He continued: "We look forward to sharing our experience in local tournaments, in addition to our handling of the Corona pandemic, how to implement the protocol for match operations approved by the competent authorities in the country and other aspects that are in the interest of the two federations."

In turn, Kozo Tashima expressed his great happiness at the renewal of this memorandum, which is the nucleus of the joint work between the two federations spanning long years and which adds a lot of professionalism in the work between the two countries, congratulating Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi on his presidency of the Emirates Football Association, and praising the role he plays in leading the helm Football to deal with the Corona pandemic, stressing the Japanese Federation's full readiness to cooperate and support the UAE Federation in all fields.

The memorandum of understanding covers several areas, most notably technical fields, coaching education, physical training programs, referees' courses, camps, administrative, media and marketing, youth development programs, and friendly matches.
