The Sharjah team has confirmed its eligibility for the fourth consecutive handball league title, and the 14th in its history, after winning, yesterday, the full mark by winning 18 matches in the 2019-2020 season, which was finally completed after a seven-month hiatus.

Sharjah’s culmination came in the final match by defeating Al Wasl 24-32.

After the meeting ended, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Public Authority for Sports, Khaled Al-Medfa, accompanied by the Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, and the former and current presidents of the Handball Federation: Muhammad Abdul Karim Julfar, Nabil Ashour, members of the Federation’s Board of Directors and the administrations of the two clubs, went to crown Sharjah with the championship shield .

The final match was preceded by the establishment of four matches for the last 18th round, in which the Al-Nasr and Shabab Al-Ahly teams secured their second and third positions, by defeating Maliha and Bani Yas respectively, so the Brigadier General "30-25" and "Forsan Dubai" won with a score of "14-26", Before Al Ain won its fourth place by defeating its guest Al Dhafra "26-21", and for the arbitration team in the Al Jazeera and Al Wahda meeting, to declare the pride of Abu Dhabi winning the result of "10 - zero", and to award him the three points for the match, as a result of the withdrawal of the unit.

With the results of the round, Sharjah finished the league perfectly, after scoring the full score (54 points), which it achieved by winning 18 matches, seven points behind Al-Nasr, who is in second place, while Shabab Al-Ahly finished third with 45 points, and Al-Ain came fourth with 38 points, a difference. Goals for Al-Jazira are fifth in the ranking, and Mleiha's balance is in sixth place at point 35, four points behind Al Wasl, who is in sixth place, and Bani Yas and Al Dhafra maintain their eighth and ninth positions with the same balance of 24 points, five points behind Al-Wahda, who is last.
