Only on Monday was it noticed that it is the County Administrative Board of Gotland that will issue the permit - which has not happened.

The authority has been in a meeting with the police during the day.

“The organizer Nordic Sport & Event can confirm that the competition will be carried out according to plan.

The background to the fact that GGN did not have a permit is the basis for an act falling between the chairs of the authorities.

Nordic Sport & Event has done everything right all the way and thinks it is unfortunate but good that the authorities themselves have discovered the matter and have time to correct it before the competition starts on Friday, writes competition leader Conny Bohlin in a text message to SVT Sport.

Bohlin emphasizes:

"The organizer has received via email tonight that the competition is not canceled or threatened," writes Bohlin.

This weekend, it is estimated that approximately 2300 drivers will be on the starting line in the enduro classic.

They are the first in Sweden with such a large sporting event during the corona pandemic and have received much attention about how the implementation takes place.
