An additional difficulty for OM?

Olympiakos will play their first Champions League match of the season on Wednesday evening against Olympique Marseille in front of 3,500 supporters.

A first for seven months behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Greek government on Monday authorized the return to stadiums of a limited number of football supporters from this week under strict rules.

The announcement by the Greek authorities follows that of UEFA providing for a gradual return of spectators for all its competitions, up to 30% of the capacity of each stadium depending on local restrictions.

Reopening of the stands in the league

In addition, one or two matches of the Greek league will take place with spectators next weekend.

"The time has finally come for the gradual return of supporters, initially at 10% of the capacity of the stands at each stadium and with a maximum number of 3,500 supporters," responded the Greek Super League.

Fans will have to comply with a strict health protocol during matches.

Only tickets sold online will be accepted, spectators must wear a mask, keep a distance of 1.5 m between them, stay in their seats and leave the stadium in small groups.
