National High School Soccer Championship will be held after taking measures against corona infection October 19, 14:14

It has been decided that the National High School Soccer Tournament, which is held every winter, will be held after taking measures against the infection of the new coronavirus, such as limiting the number of spectators.

The Japan Football Association and the All Japan High School Soccer Tournament have been coordinating for the 99th National High School Soccer Championship this year.

As a result, this year's National High School Soccer Tournament will be held one day later than usual on December 31, after taking measures against the infection of the new coronavirus, such as reducing the scale of the opening and closing ceremonies and limiting the number of spectators. It was decided to hold it from the day.

Forty-eight teams will participate in the tournament, including 47 prefecture representatives and another team from Tokyo, which has the largest number of member schools, and will be held at nine venues in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba.

The semi-finals will be held on January 9th next year and the finals will be held on January 11th at Saitama Stadium, and a combination lottery will be held online on the 16th of next month.
