With a quarter of an hour left of Monday night's football Allsvenskan meeting between Djurgården and Malmö FF at Tele2 arena in Stockholm, the away team's Danish team captain and midfield star Anders Christiansen limped out into the locker room with a suspected injury to his left leg.

- I got a stamp on my leg and needed to sew, he says.

Did not see the end

The match was then 2-0 to MFF and the league lead in the Allsvenskan looked to be extended to eleven points.

But with "AC" off the field, the Scanians lost the match in just over seven and a half minutes after Djurgårdsmål in the 81st, 82nd and 89th minute.

Christiansen himself did not see the end of the 2-3 loss but only found out the end result when the loss was a fact.

- I knew nothing.

I was shocked.

We had full control for 75 minutes, a demonstration of power, and played good football.

Leads by eight points

MFF's two-goal shooter Ola Toivonen admits that the late breakthrough was not good.

But the former Swedish national team striker does not think it will affect the Swedish Championship gold-chasing top team too much.

The league lead is eight points with six rounds left in a limping table.

- It's just to forget this, these ten minutes, Toivonen says.

But will this match still affect you before the final rounds?

- Not so much I think.

We play well for 80 minutes and I hope it does not affect us so much.
