It was a heavy world cup premiere in giant slalom for the Swedes in Sölden.

Sara Hector, who was far behind (3.18 behind leader Marta Bassino), was the only Swede to make it to the second race.

- It is not acceptable.

What she has done in training before is not at all on par with this, says Melin.

What does it depend on?

- We have talked about it, we coaches, and have a picture ready for us.

But I will not go into any technical details here.

There is potential for improvement, of course.

"Aronsson lights up"

What do you say about Estelle Alphand, who was 4.07 behind and missed the second run?

- Same thing there.

She said she had problems with vision, but it is the same for everyone, says Melin.

- What lights up life is Hanna Aronsson.

She was about to qualify (for the second run).

Melin was more satisfied after the second run, where Hector climbed four places.

- Sara got it together and made a good second run.

She was a bit unlucky up there in three turns but overall she does a good performance in the second run.

I can take the opportunity to pay tribute to the coaching team who did a good job with her during the break.

Eighth place in the second run is basically the expectations we had before the start.
