The coach of the French women's team Corinne Deacon and her goalkeeper coach Gilles Fouache have tested positive for the coronavirus, the French Football Federation (FFF) announced on Saturday, which will force the technician to miss the rally of the Blue which must start on Monday.

"The coach and her assistant will not be able to participate physically in this camp or in the two qualifying matches for Euro-2022" against North Macedonia on October 23 in Orleans and in Austria on October 27, specifies the FFF in a press release , adding that the team will be run by assistant coach Eric Blahic and physical trainer Anthony Grech Angelini during the rally.
