Henrik Kristoffersen, who won both the slalom and giant slalom cups last season, has gained seven kilos in weight since last season ended.

Now he weighs 83 kilos.

- In a way, it has been a goal for a long time.

To gain weight.

I'm gotten a little fat.

I have set 85 kilos as a goal, more than that I should not go up, says the Norwegian.

The reason for the conscious weight gain is that he wants to be able to reach a higher maximum speed in the giant slalom.

- For me, it can give an opportunity to be a little more brutal, and it can give better times, he says.

The Norwegian has decided to focus only on his best disciplines, slalom and giant slalom.

- So far in my career, the most fun has been winning competitions.

I can not do that in super-G and downhill directly.
