Dubai Stud wins the opening run of the Sharjah Arabian Horse Festival

The activities of the Sharjah Arabian Horse Festival - the Egyptian Dynasty, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, kicked off the day before yesterday evening, and is held at the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, within the 14th edition.

The beginning of the festival witnessed the crowning of the Dubai Stud, through the skilled "De Afaf", with the title of the opening round.

The two-day festival will witness the participation of 79 horses from various state stations, clubs and stables, under the official sponsorship of the Sharjah International Airport Free Zone Authority, Saif Zone, and in cooperation with the Emirates Arabian Horse Association.

The festival is accredited by the European Commission for Purebred Arabian Horse Competitions «ICAHO», as all festivals at the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club have been accredited by the Commission for this season.

The opening of the festival was witnessed by Sheikh Muhammad bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Financial Department in Sharjah, Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, Dr. Ghanem Al Hajri, Secretary General of the Equestrian Federation, and a number of personalities.

"De Afaf" won the first place in the opening round of the female foals (1 to 3) years, with a total score of 91.67, while the second place went to the skilled "Basma Al-Ezz" for Al-Ezz, with a total of 91.33 points, while the third place went to the skilled "Mahajat Al-Remas" »Owner Saif Khalifa Al Muhairi, with a total score of 91.17.

Muhammad Salem Al-Mahmoud and Sultan Muhammad Khalifa Al-Yahya crowned the winners of the first day's runs, noting that the female fillers who won the first three places qualify for the championships that were held yesterday in the outer sand field.

"De Afaf" won the first place in the opening round, the group of fillies aged (1 to 3).
