Today, all eyes are on the conclusion of the first round of the Arab Gulf League, where the summit between Al-Nasr and its guest Al-Jazira at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai, at 9:00 pm.

The match combines two different stories, as it was remarkable not to lose victory in all the prep matches he had fought since the start of the preparation for the new season, while Al Jazeera scored itself in the professional records as the first team to start the season, and no new contract was concluded at the level of foreign players.

Al-Jazira defeated Al-Nasr in the two teams' match, which was held last season in the 12th round at Al-Jazira Stadium, 2-1, while they did not meet at Al Maktoum Stadium due to the failure to complete the competition.

Al-Jazeera launched the official matches with a surprise loss in the Arabian Gulf Cup to Kalba 2-1, while today's official match will be the first for Al-Nassr, as he qualified directly for the round of 16 in the cup being the title holder.

During three months of preparation, Al-Nassr played seven matches, won six, and tied in one match.

"The best thing for a coach is that the team wins, whether the matches are friendly or official," Al-Nasr coach Kronslav said at the press conference.

He added: Al-Jazirah is a very good team, and includes many distinguished players, especially the citizens, and for our team, we went through an excellent preparation period for a period of three months, and we had enough time to develop the team’s performance and address all problems.
