Saudi diving and swimming instructor, Zeina Ali, said that "women's sports in Saudi Arabia are living their best days now thanks to the care available to them by officials in the Kingdom, in order to encourage Saudi women to practice sports." Zeina Ali excelled in the field of diving and rescue in particular, as she became a certified trainer by the Arab Federation for the Game, in addition to another accreditation from the American Swimming Federation.

Zeina Ali told "Emirates Today" that she practiced many sports since childhood and excelled in them, such as horse riding and equestrian in general, as well as archery, and then began her swimming and diving journey by first breaking the fear of water.

She mentioned, "I started, little by little, to love water, then got involved in diving training, and after that, based on the directions of my trainer, I became a certified trainer with the Arab Federation for Diving and Rescue."

She said that she sought to excel in this field despite the many obstacles she faced, especially as a housewife. She added: “I had a mahram to accompany me, and this was what helped me a lot in the movement, and as for training I used to train with women a lot, and when I studied laws and rules It became better, and surpassed a number of coaches in study and academic achievement. ”Zeina Ali called for“ more support for women's sports in the Kingdom, and in all respects, financially, morally and psychologically, as well as paying attention to the infrastructure from establishing specialized stadiums and clubs, such as a women's swimming club as well as in shooting. And all other sports, and for women to have opportunities like those available to men. ”She added:“ My dream is to achieve gold medals for my country, Saudi Arabia in international competitions, and my idol in sport is undoubtedly the second Arab swimmer, Saeed Abdul Karim Al-Issa, I live in a dream, and I hope that it will come true in any way.
