Back against Messi's Barça?

The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) announced on Tuesday that the Selecçao captain had tested positive for coronavirus the day after Portugal's draw against France on Sunday in Saint-Denis (0-0), and that he would be forfeited for the match against Sweden on Wednesday in Lisbon, also in the League of Nations.

CR7 was "asymptomatic" and had been placed in isolation since the first positive test in the selection training center in Oeiras, on the outskirts of Lisbon.

The striker will have to provide a negative test one week before the match, on October 21.
