Before FC Rosengård's match against Kristianstad DFF on Sunday, word came from Rosengård that they had been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the organization.

But who the club is, the club has not gone out with.

That message means that Vittsjö's forward, Clara Markstedt, who meets Rosengård this weekend, wanted more testing.

- If players or people who are close to the team are tested positive, I think everyone should be tested.

Because there are many who can be asymptomatic and the infection can spread very easily.

Are you worried about getting infected during match play?

- It is not something you think about during the matches themselves.

We do not greet each other, of course it is melee and other things but it is not a thought you have with you out on the field.

- You have to do what you can before and after the matches with rubbing alcohol and trust that all teams follow the guidelines.

"Think it's in the workplace"

At Elitfotboll dam, you are informed about the infection in FC Rosengård.

- I have received a comment from their club manager that they work with the issue and adhere to the restrictions and protocols that exist, says Tomas Hozcek.

What does that mean?

- I asked the question if it was a player who was infected in the squad and I have not received an answer to that yet.

But I think it is in the workplace that it has been an infected employee and then the usual recommendations that apply in a workplace apply.

What if there is an infected player?

- Then the player should be isolated and not participate in any activity until they are healthy.

We just hope that it is not in the player squad now at the end of the series when there is a lot at stake now and at the same time it is a tough game program that they have now, says Tomas Hozcek.
