Roland-Garros: The thirteen victories of Rafael Nadal -

20 Minutes

In spring or fall, whether it's hot or cold, nobody beats Rafael Nadal in the final at Roland Garros.

And Novak Djokovic was no exception to the rule, unable to prevent the Spaniard from winning his 13th Parisian title, Sunday, October 11.

The Mallorcan thus equaled the record of 20 Grand Slam trophies of Swiss Roger Federer.

From 2005 to 2020, Rafael Nadal has therefore won the French tennis internationals thirteen times.

A record of 100 victories out of 102 matches played on Parisian clay.

Of his thirteen finals won, he has beaten the Swiss Roger Federer four times (2006, 2007, 2008 and 2011) and the Serbian Novak Djokovic three times (2012, 2014 and 2020).

As a reminder, the previous player who held the record for victories in Paris was the Swede Björn Borg with six trophies (1974, 1975, 1978, 1979, 1980 and 1981).
