It was a swinging goal and some dramatic final minutes when Redbergslid left the jumbo spot in the handball league.

RIK had 12-8 at the break at home against Skövde.

But Skövde had found something during the break, and made 8-1 on the home team during the first minutes of the second half.

All of a sudden it was an away lead with 15-13.

- We made some bad decisions there.

But it's a bit like that when you go into the break and have played well, then you want it to continue to roll on.

And then there are easily two or three bad decisions, and then they were quickly over, says RIK's Tobias Johansson about the start in the second half.

But Redbergslid returned.

Much thanks to Tobias Johansson, who scored a total of ten goals and also had five assists in the match.

But it was dramatic final minutes.

"Got a little nervous"

RIK had 25-23 with three minutes left.

However, Skövde did not give up.

Goals by Kristian Jakobsen Stranden and Jesper Jensen kept Västgötarna in the game until the closing seconds.

RIK could definitely decide when Oskar Joelsson made 27-25 on a free throw with only one second left of the match.

- I think we made a good match.

Adam (Krantz) was extremely good in the goal.

It got a little nervous when they caught up at the end, but I think we did well, says Tobias Johansson to C More.

With the victory, Redbergslid lifted four places in the table and now also has a hang on the top eight, which means playoffs, after seven games played.
