Al-Ahly of Egypt decided to include Kahraba in the mission traveling to Morocco to meet Wydad

The technical staff of the Egyptian Al-Ahly football team, led by South African Pitso Mosimane, decided to include the team's player Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim Kahraba for the mission that will travel to Morocco in preparation for the match against Wydad Casablanca next Saturday in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League.

Kahraba was injured during Al-Ahly's confrontation with Pyramids on Sunday, in the 33rd stage of the Egyptian League.

A source in Al-Ahly Al-Masry said in exclusive statements to the German news agency (dpa), today, Monday, that the technical staff decided to include electricity to the mission, provided that it complete its qualification program in Morocco.

The same source added that Kahraba suffers from a slight strain in the back muscle and will undergo a qualification program to prepare him for the second leg of the African Champions League semi-finals.

He explained that the duo, Mohamed El Shennawi, goalkeeper and Senegalese Alio Badji, are naturally ready for the Wydad match.

The Al-Ahly delegation will leave for Morocco next Wednesday, where Mahmoud Al-Khatib, president of the club, heads the mission traveling to Casablanca.

Al-Ahly will face the Wydad Casablanca team next Saturday in the first leg of the semi-final round of the competition, with the return match to be held in Cairo on 23 October.
