The Tushinsky District Court of Moscow held a hearing on the case of violation of sanitary norms by Spartak during the home match of the Russian Premier League (RPL) with Zenit.

As a result, the club was found guilty and fined 300 thousand rubles.

At the same time, the red and white escaped the harshest punishment provided for such a violation - a temporary suspension of activities for up to 90 days.

“To recognize Spartak guilty of violating administrative regulations.

The fine is 300 thousand rubles.

The decision can be appealed within 20 days.

The court considered that the violations were gross.

The court did not find sufficient grounds for punishment in the minimum amount, "- the words of the judge" Championship ".

According to Rospotrebnadzor, the number of fans in the stands of the Otkrytie Arena stadium on October 3 was not 17,150, as indicated in the protocol, but 20,700. In addition, it was revealed that the spectators violated the mask regime and did not observe social distance.

At the trial, Spartak's representatives admitted that some fans did not really adhere to the rules prescribed in the medical protocol.

At the same time, the club's lawyer Vladislav Lyalikov said that the staff of the stadium made remarks to the violators, but their powers "neither for ethical nor for legal reasons" do not include the use of force.

“People come to football with families or friendly teams.

We distributed tickets in such a way that there was a social distance.

But at the match, people who came in teams tore it up ... Unfortunately, some of the fans did not wear masks even after the controllers' demands, ”RIA Novosti quoted Lyalikov as saying.

As a mitigating circumstance, the defendant asked the court to take into account the fact that the red and white took all measures to comply with security measures, which was previously confirmed by Rospotrebnadzor.

At the same time, the club stressed that the attendance at the match did not exceed the permissible norm.

Also, the defense asked not to apply sanctions to the Otkrytie Arena stadium.

According to Lyalikov, the club itself decided to temporarily suspend the activities of the stadium pending a verdict in order to exclude the likelihood of new violations, since various events are held there in addition to football matches.

“Spartak” reacted positively to the results of the meeting.

Director of the Public Relations Department Anton Fetisov noted that the club was satisfied with the court's decision and did not intend to appeal against it.

“The court made the fairest decision in this situation.

The main thing is that the activity has not been suspended ... You can only additionally introduce tapes in the stands.

But we will appeal to the fans.

It is impossible to go to the fan rostrum and make everyone sit down.

It is very difficult to maintain a distance.

A precedent is created.

This is not very good, ”Fetisov summed up.

In turn, the President of the Russian Premier League (RPL) Sergei Pryadkin expressed the hope that this trial will become a good example for other participants in the championship.

“We are satisfied that the punishment is not related to the closure of the stadium, Spartak will continue to play for their fans.

However, it is a signal to the entire league.

The aggravated epidemiological situation excludes a formal approach to compliance with preventive measures.

Every match is now under special scrutiny from the authorities.

Our common duty is to show increased responsibility, and this applies to all RPL clubs.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to once again appeal to the fans: do not neglect safety measures, keep your distance and use protective equipment, "Pryadkina quotes TASS.

The well-known sports lawyer Mikhail Prokopets is of the same opinion.

He called the court's decision expected.

“I have said many times that there is no reason to close the stadium, but if the club is found guilty, there will be a fine.

And so it happened - the amount is not the minimum and not the maximum.

This is a warning to all our clubs.

You need to monitor what is happening in the stadiums, the virus is very important.

And today's punishment of the court is more than adequate, without excesses, ”- quotes Prokopets“ Championship ”.
