South Korean Kim Se-young climbed to the top at the American LPGA Tour and KPMG Women's PGA Championship overnight.

Kim Se-young, who started the final round with the 7-under-par alone leader, competed in fierce competition with senior Park In-bi.
Park In-bi, who started in fourth place, three shots behind Kim Se-young, recorded four birdies up to the 12th hole, including three buddies in the first half, and followed Kim Se-young by two shots.
However, Se-young Kim, a birdie on the 13th and 14th holes, widened the gap with Park Inbi by 4 strokes and stepped closer to the championship.
Park In-bi succeeded in a long distance putt on the 17th hole and strengthened it until the last minute, but the charter was not overturned.
Seyoung Kim split the game by catching birdies in a row at the 16th and 17th holes.
In the end, Kim Se-young hit the 7-under par with 7 birdies without a look, and surpassed Park In-bi by 5 strokes with a total of 14 under pars, and raised the championship cup of the major competition for the first time in his life.
