- She did not have the day and energy for this course.

She is disappointed here, says national team captain Fredrik Kessiakoff to SVT Sport from Leotang in Austria.

Rissveds did not even take two laps and was around 20th place for a while in the beginning.

It was a super tough track where you drove five laps on a 3.6 km long track that had a 210 meter climb.

It quickly became long time distances where the riders had to get off the bike several times and lead it between tree roots, stone chests and sections of mud in the extremely hilly terrain where cabin lifts passed.

- It was extreme mud, nothing that you as a Swedish cyclist are used to and you see it from a distance, says Kessiakoff.

The season is now over for Rissveds.

- She is not strong with this type of tough competitions right now and will give up the European Championships next week but aims for the 2021 season, says Kessiakoff.
