Tunisia wins Sudan 3-0 and faces Nigeria in Austria

The Tunisian national team beat its Sudanese guest 3-0, today, Friday, at Olympic Stadium Hammadi Al Aqrabi in Rades, in an international friendly football match that is part of the teams' preparations for the resumption of the qualifiers for the African Nations Cup 2021, after they were suspended since March due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus.


The Tunisian national team settled the meeting in its first half by scoring the three goals through Seif El Din Khawi (17), Ali Al Maaloul (24) and Anis Bin Slimane (35).


The Carthage Eagles will play another friendly match against Nigeria on the 13th of this month in Austria, before the resumption of the tenth group of African Nations 2021 qualifiers scheduled in Cameroon, where it will meet its Tanzanian counterpart on November 9 at home before arriving as a guest on the 17th of it.


The Tunisian national team leads its group with two victories from two matches, three points ahead of Libya and Tanzania, while Equatorial Guinea ranks fourth, without points.


As for the Sudanese national team, it plays in the third group in which it ranks third with the same number of second South Africa points and three behind Ghana, which is a guest on November 9, before facing it again on the 17th.
