The club normally has between 500 and 700 people at its home matches, which would have been well adapted to the recommendation of 500 people that the government planned a couple of weeks ago.

Now it is postponed to the future as the spread of infection has increased.

- It is not at all unexpected in fact because the infection has increased, says Växjö DDF's club manager Hans Ohlsson to SVT Småland.

The club had hoped to bring in SEK 120,000 for the home matches that remain.

- We have two home games left and would have really needed this audience.

We are chasing these 120,000 kronor that slide between our fingers.

We need every penny, says Ohlsson.

The club hopes to raise SEK 4.5 million through a new share issue.

- But that money is not yet in the account so it still feels very insecure.
