The coach of the Colombian national football team, Jorge Luis Pinto, said that the friendly match next Monday against Uzbekistan will be a good opportunity to test the preparations of the players in the new list.

"I will get to know the players and their levels more in the next friendly match," he added in press statements.

Al-Abyad is currently training at Hamid Al Tayer Stadium in Al Nasr Club, within the Dubai camp, which will continue until the 12th of this month, the date of the Uzbekistan match.

Pinto said: "He is satisfied with my choices, and although the national team is missing two major players, Omar Abdel Rahman and Ahmed Khalil, for injury, those present will make up for their absence."

He explained that the start of the season will constitute a greater opportunity to expand the selection circle, and revealed that the team, according to the program prepared in advance, will play two friendlies next November.

He continued, "I hope that the technical benefit from such experiences will lead the players to better preparation stages."

The team made two divisions the day before yesterday: the first against Redeyef Al-Nasr won by a sixth, while the second ended with the victory of the first team, with two clean goals.

And Pinto involved all the players during the two divisions to find out their level and technical and physical readiness, and to try a number of tactical sentences and plans that he will follow during the upcoming matches.

It is noteworthy that the Uzbekistan friendly will be held at Rashid Stadium at Shabab Al Ahly Club in Dubai.

The team won a friendly victory over Rediff Al-Nasr, and lost to the Dean's first team.
