"There is a result that does not suit us."

The head coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov gave a brief commentary on the game and explained the substitutions made during the match.

- The result is not in our favor.

We wanted to win, had an advantage in the first half, but conceded.

We were upset, because nothing foreshadowed such a development of events.

But we kept playing and had two planned replacements during the break.

We wanted to check the players and certain connections before the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches.

That's what control games are for.

Alexander Sobolev and Andrey Mostovoy made their debut today.

Ilya Kutepov and Soslan Dzhanaev, who had not played for the national team for a long time, entered the field.

In the center of defense, Fyodor Kudryashov was checked, since Georgy Dzhikia was eliminated.

On the one hand, there is a result that does not suit us.

On the other hand, interesting information that we must analyze and process correctly.

- It feels like the game was going well for the Russian team before the first goal.

Can the ball by Alexander Isak be called a key episode of the meeting?

- We missed when we had full advantage.

This can happen in any match, that's not the point.

There was still time and we tried to turn the tide.

Only players from the attack group were substituted.

Unfortunately, the Swedes increased their advantage thanks to the ricochet, which only made the situation worse.

But the guys fought to the end, won back one goal.

There wasn’t enough time for anything.

Again, all teams have such matches.

We need to conduct a correct analysis of what happened.

- What impression did the debutants make on you?

- There were interesting and not very moments.

In the first match, it is difficult to grasp all the tactical nuances.

It's good that the guys made their debut.

Now they know firsthand what a national team is.

In a calm atmosphere, we will show you where to add.

Experts and spectators only notice the goals.

Of course, Sobolev scored a great goal, but we need to better integrate Alexander into the team play so that he is more useful in certain moments.

- Many attacks of the Russian national team developed through the left flank.

Was it a coaching directive for the team, or was it a game model that had developed during the match?

- We studied the opponent.

We knew that the Swedes had problems in defense on the right.

Yuri Zhirkov played actively here, then he was replaced by Denis Cheryshev.

I didn't see the statistics, but it seemed to me that there was no obvious roll in one direction.

I could be wrong.

Mostovoy was quite active on the opposite flank.

Mario Fernandez also joined ahead.

Yes, and Alexey Ionov with Vyacheslav Karavaev strengthened the game on the right edge.

- You made six substitutions.

Were all of them planned, or did the decision change during the game?

- Two substitutions did not go according to plan, because the game was not in our favor.

Before the match, it was clear that Dziuba and Magomed Ozdoev would play only one half.

The guys have been playing a lot lately, so it was necessary to carefully approach their condition.

But after the break, we had to change Fernandez and strengthen the attack line.

We also did not plan that Zhirkov would play 90 minutes, but Mario got tired in the last matches of the championship, we were aware of his health.

They understood that Fernandez would only spend an hour on the field.

- Did you feel the presence of fans at the match?

- We are glad that people gave the opportunity to attend the match.

Despite the small number, they were clearly audible.

Of course, we are very happy about this.

I wish even more fans could attend the future matches.

Football without spectators is not so pleasant.

- On Wednesday, the closest rival of the Russian national team, Turkey, drew with Germany (3: 3).

Are you surprised by this result?

“This shouldn't surprise me.

Of course, I watched the whole match yesterday.

Both teams showed a very high quality game.

The Turkish Championship has already started, and the players are in a different playing and functional state.

Therefore, there is nothing surprising here.

The Turks have always shown a decent game, and a difficult match awaits us.

"Our team is not as played as the Russian team"

In turn, the vis-a-vis Cherchesov Janne Andersson could only be glad for the charges.

In particular, he shared his impressions of the game of Spartak striker Jordan Larsson.

- He showed himself perfectly.

I would also like to mention Isak's game.

As in the first half, everything went at the highest level, and in the second, none of them let the team down.

- What were your general expectations about the match?

- There were no certain ones, so there is nothing to be surprised at.

Our team is not as well played as the Russian team.

Cherchesov gathered very strong guys.

Despite the fact that the Russian team is more experienced, the game was at the highest level.

Especially in the first half, when Dziuba played a key pole.

- Who impressed you the most?

- First of all, I am glad that we won.

We had a strong second half, the team began to play much stronger.

Goalkeeper Karl-Johan Junsson also played excellently.

Our team had a good game, which I am very pleased with.
