"Saudi discipline" fine Al-Sahlawi for immoral expressions
The Discipline and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Association decided today to impose a fine on Mohammed Al-Sahlawi, the player of the Saudi Al-Taawon Club, worth 50,000 Saudi riyals, due to comments that included unethical phrases through his account on the social networking site "Twitter".
Al-Sahlawi, the former Al-Qadisiyah player and Al-Nasr player, responded after his team Al-Taawon exited the 16th round of the AFC Champions League against Al-Nasr on his Twitter account on one of the comments, in response to "an immoral suggestion," which made the Disciplinary Committee intervene according to its regulations, since Al-Sahlawi is a professional player In one of the Saudi clubs.
On the other hand, the committee issued a decision to accept Al-Ittihad club's protest against Al-Shabab club due to the irregular participation of Al-Shabab player Hammoud Al-Anzi.
The committee decided to suspend the administrator of the youth club, Hussein Moaz, for a period of two months.
