Recommendation of Ashour and his board to take over the Handball Federation

The General Assembly of the Handball Federation yesterday voted by acclamation in favor of the candidate of the Sharjah Club, Nabil Ashour, to assume the presidency of the Handball Federation, in the new election cycle 2020-2024, and approved all representatives of the eight clubs candidates for the new Federation Council according to the list announced on 29 Last September.

This came at the meeting held yesterday in Dubai, attended by the president of the outgoing union, Abdul Karim Julfar, and members of the council, and the election committee consisted of Muhammad Al-Amiri, Hamad Al-Zeyoudi, Youssef Ahmed, Hassan Al-Marzouki, and Mohamed Kahor.

The meeting witnessed the completion of the quorum, in the presence of representatives of the 15 clubs under the umbrella of the Union, and the absence of the representative of the Al Ain Club.

Thus, the board of directors of the new handball federation is formed as follows: Nabil Ashour as president, and memberships: Abdullah Saeed (Al Ain), Nasser Salem (Maliha), Dawood Muhammad (Dibba Al-Hisn), Adnan Faraj (Al Dhaid), Saud Ibrahim (Shabab Al-Ahly), Faisal Hassan (Al-Nasr), Abdul-Salam Rabi` (Al-Wasl) and Anisa Al-Shaddadi on the women's seat in the union.
