Today, the Swedish men's national team gathered again and then three matches await in seven days.

Many players also have that match tempo in their club teams

- There are many tough matches out there.

It's a tough load on the players.

I really hope their clubs give them room for the recovery they need.

We are definitely trying to do that, so we do not overload them.

They have to take it very calmly between the matches, says national team captain Janne Andersson.

The first match during the national team gathering is an international match against Russia and then awaits the Nations League matches against Croatia and Portugal.

- My basic idea is mainly that those who do not play against Croatia should play against Russia.

For match three, you get to see what has happened along the way.

The Russia match is the first time in a long time that we have a friendly match and I use it to be able to see the players who have not been allowed to play that much before.

Then some form of first eleven against Croatia, says Andersson.
