At the opening of the 6th day of Ligue 1 on Friday, PSG scored against Angers and continues to recover.

Lens beat Saint-Étienne and occupies third place.

Lille is provisionally leader of the French Ligue 1 championship. Away, the Northerners largely beat Strasbourg (3-0) on Sunday, thanks to goals from Zeki Çelik, Renato Sanches and Burak Yılmaz.

Renne faces Reims on Sunday afternoon and hopes to regain the lead in the championship.

Paris as boss against Angers, Lens seduces

Friday in the first match of the sixth day, PSG did not need to force its talent against Angers.

At the Parc des Princes, Marquinhos' teammates made short work of the Angevins, 6-1 with a double from Neymar and the first achievement of rookie Alessandro Florenzi.

Lens continues to seduce: after victories against Paris and Bordeaux at home, Franck Haise's men defeated a team from Saint-Étienne on Saturday who were uninspired, but especially reduced to 9 (2-0).

Gaël Kakuta opened the scoring in the fifteenth minute and Florian Sotoca doubled the lead ten minutes from time.

Nice beat Nantes (2-1) and resumes its forward march after three games without a win.

It is Khéphren Thuram, son of the world champion Lilian Thuram, who offered the victory to the eaglets.

Southern Derby and Niane hat-trick

Historic victory for Nîmes in the derby of the South against Montpellier, at the Stade de la Mosson.

Renaud Ripart gave the victory to his people with a goal in the 84th minute (1-0).

Brest beat Monaco by opening the scoring very early in the game (1-0).

Ibrahima Niane meanwhile achieved a good performance by scoring three goals against Lorient after the opening score of the Bretons (3-1).

Dijon occupies the last place: still in search of their first victory, the Burgundians bowed heavily against Bordeaux (3-0).

The two Olympics meet on Sunday evening for a shock at the end of the sixth day.
