It was one of the most anticipated elections of the end of 2020, far ahead of the history of Biden and Trump in the United States.

Bernard Laporte was re-elected president of the French Rugby Federation on Saturday, after a vote of more than 24 hours for all of the 1900 clubs in France.

He won against Florian Grill, his opponent, with 51% of the vote.

It is therefore the end of a deleterious campaign that will have divided French rugby.

It's up to Bernard Laporte to try to put the pieces back together.
