HV71's Lias Andersson is severely punished for his main tackle on Luleå's Jonas Berglund. There will be a five-match suspension for the event that occurred in Thursday's SHL match. In addition to the suspension, Andersson will be fined SEK 80,500.
In its decision, the disciplinary committee writes that the tackle was "careless and disrespectful" and entailed a very high risk of injury.
"The tackle is late and Berglund has relaxed and is in a vulnerable situation when the tackle is handed out", it says in the verdict.
