The crisis in Azerbaijan prompts the Armenian national team captain to give up a professional contract in Greece

The captain of the Armenian national football team, Farazdat Haroyan (28 years), gave up a professional contract in the Greek league with the Larisa team, in response to the call of his country's army and to participate in the current ongoing military conflict against Azerbaijan over the Nagorno Karabakh case.

The Spanish newspaper "AS" stated that the player was just around the corner from completing his transfer to the Greek League and signing the contract with Larissa, after three seasons he fought with the "Ural" team, competing in the Russian Premier League.

The newspaper confirmed that the player decided to sacrifice for his country in its current war against Azerbaijan, especially after Armenia appealed to all its citizens under the age of 40 to join its army, which was not late in responding to Haroyan.
