Kim Nilsson has been Masarna's best driver this season.

But it was a bit difficult on Tuesday when there were "only" six run-in points in the first semifinal against the Lions.

In the return in Avesta, he was one of the drivers who was very much behind the big win.

- I got into the match wrong on Tuesday, and it probably settled in my head a bit.

Before this match I changed bikes, we got a good start to the match and then it just got tough.

Everything went our way, says Kim Nilsson.

Now the final against the Indians awaits next week.

- I think there will be two even matches, which will probably not be decided until the last heats.

It can go any way.

But no matter what happens in the first match down there, we know we are strong at home.

We have a good chance, says Kim Nilsson.

First final in eleven years

For 30-year-old Kim Nilsson, it will be his second Swedish Championship final in his career.

But it's been a while since last.

In 2009 he drove the final with the Wolves, against just the Lions, as a 19-year-old.

That time it was silver.

- It feels like it was a very long time since I was in a final.

It was also a very special season.

We were a defeated team, which built together as a group all that season.

A bit like this year with the Masars.

It would be really fun to step up one step further and take the gold, says Kim Nilsson.
