PSG will have a complicated Champions League first round with Manchester United and Leipzig, which they beat in the semi-finals of the last edition.

OM will face Porto and Manchester City, while Rennes inherited Sevilla FC, winner of the Europa League, and Chelsea.

Manchester United for Paris SG, Manchester City for Marseille and Chelsea for Rennes: Thursday's Champions League draw was heavy for French clubs.

But everyone is keeping their chances, even OM and the Bretons who feared the worst.

The shock of the first round will take place in group G: Juventus - FC Barcelona will pit the two superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi against each other, in a summit with eleven Ballons d'Or and the scent of "clasico", evoking the Madrid years of Portuguese.

The French teams have avoided the "group of death", even if the Paris SG, outgoing finalist, will have a hard time with the presence of RB Leipzig, which he had beaten in the semi-final (3-0) of the latest edition.

OM will have to face two teams used to C1, FC Porto and Manchester City.

Finally, Rennes will have to rub shoulders with Seville, winner of the last Europa League, and Chelsea for their very first participation in the Champions League.
