"Professionals" announces the schedule for the Arab Gulf League matches

The UAE Professional Football League announced today, Wednesday, the schedule of the Arab Gulf League matches, in addition to the schedules of the two Arab Gulf Cup championships, the Arab Gulf League U-21, which are the three tournaments that fall under its supervision.


The 2020-2021 season begins in the Arab Gulf Cup championship with its new system, with the preliminary rounds being held in two rounds: the first on 8 and 9 October 2020, and the second 12 and 13 November. 


 The first round will witness the holding of three matches on its first day, as the Kalba Federation hosts its rival Al-Jazira at 6.30 pm, Hatta with Bani Yas at the same time, and Fujairah with Ajman at nine in the evening.


On the second day of the tour, Shabab Al-Ahly will host its rival Al Dhafra at 6.30 pm, and Khor Fakkan will be a guest of Al Ain at the same time, then Al Wahda with Al Wasl at nine in the evening.


According to the new competition system, Sharjah, the Arab Gulf League champion, and Al-Nasr, the Arab Gulf Cup champion, will ascend to the quarter-finals directly.

The League October 16


As for the Arab Gulf League Championship, it will start next October 16 with the holding of the first round over two days (16 and 17 October). On its first day, Al-Wahda will host its rival Hatta at 6.15 pm, and Ajman will be a guest at Al Dhafra at the same time, then Fujairah with Sharjah at Nine in the evening and Al-Wasl with Bani Yas at the same time.


The second day will witness two matches at 6.30 pm, the first between Kalba Union with Shabab Al-Ahly, Al-Ain and Khorfakkan, and the tour ends with a confrontation between Al-Nasr Group and Al-Jazeera at nine in the evening.


The first round of the Arab Gulf League is scheduled to conclude with the holding of Round 13 on January 4 and 5, 2021.
