The Dubai Sports Council, in cooperation with the Dubai Economic Department, issued six financial violations against a number of sports institutions and sporting events, within the framework of inspection visits conducted by teams of disciplinary officers of the Dubai Sports Council, in cooperation with the Dubai Economic Department for sports facilities to ensure full compliance with Administrations and practitioners apply the precautionary measures adopted to prevent the "Covid-19" virus, and implement all the instructions included in the official protocol for sports facilities and stadiums issued by the Dubai Sports Council, in cooperation with the official authorities, and includes accurate and detailed instructions for each facility and sport.
The council said in a statement yesterday: “The violations came through the visits of the inspection teams of the Dubai Sports Council and (Dubai Economy) in various regions of Dubai, and the violating sports facilities were distributed in areas: Sheikh Zayed Road, Silicon Oasis, Al Qusais, Al Karama, Al Quoz and Al Wasl. The reasons for the violations of the violating establishments for which financial fines were imposed varied between non-commitment to wearing masks and non-commitment to social distancing, and 10 warning alerts were directed to some establishments and individuals due to gatherings.
