Real Madrid announces the injury of its star Marcelo

Real Madrid announced the absence of the left back of the royal team, Brazilian Marcelo, from playing Saturday's match against Real Betis in the third round of the Spanish League Championship.

The club published a statement on its official website, confirming that: "Marcelo will not travel to Seville to participate in the match against Betis, despite being called up on the list drawn up by the French team coach Zinedine Zidane, due to Marcelo's feeling of pain in the back."

Although the statement specified the type of injury of the Brazilian, who is absent from the team for the second match in the new season 2020-2021, it did not specify the duration of the player's absence, or any other information about the size of the injury.
