A year ago, Zlatan Ibrahimovic criticized the Swedish national team captain Janne Andersson for opting out of players with an immigrant background.

In connection with the latest Nations League collection, the Swedish star came forward with the criticism again.

The giant talent Dejan Kulusevski was not allowed to start against France and then Ibrahimovic called the national team management "incompetent" on Twitter.

Janne Andersson does not like if it is suggested that he chooses players based on background.

- If someone were to suggest it, then I would be annoyed.

Do not mix things up.

Do not bring that shit again.

However, we can discuss player type and all that, but no other hints, he says to Expressen.

He discussed the Kulusevski issue at a press conference the next day, but never mentioned Ibrahimovic's name.

- Everyone who thinks and thinks something about me and the national team, it makes there some kind of noise around us.

That's it, he says and continues:

- I see him as a result of this noise that is all around.

I equate it with everything else.

Overall, he believes that criticism does not take him seriously.

- That will always be there, whether it is him or someone else, I get to handle it, and we as a group get to handle it.

From that perspective, people get to think what they want.

I can not influence it and then I can not put any energy on it, says the league captain.
