During Saturday's annual meeting, the members of the Figure Skating Association were allowed to vote on whether Henriksson was eligible or not.

A majority voted against.

Prior to the meeting, a conflict flared up after information that the union's chairman, Katarina Henriksson, had received a fee for the past two years.

The union's statutes state that you may not be an employee and at the same time sit on the board.

It is therefore not permitted to receive a salary for board work.

For two years, Katarina Henriksson has received other assignments from the board for which she has been paid a fee.

There have been specific project assignments in addition to the regular board work.

"Far too much money"

Prior to the meeting, SVT Sport spoke with several districts about the information about fees, where several said that they did not know that she had been paid.

"It is not OK.

It is far too much money and there is also no information about what has been achieved for this money, "said a representative at the time.

Helena Rosén Andersson was elected new chairman, according to sources to SVT Sport.

Alarms about misconduct

During the year, alarms have emerged about the importance of figure skating.

This led to the figure skating association appointing an external investigation that showed major misconduct where, among other things, coaches expose skiers to emotional abuse and weight.

As a result, the credibility of the board has been debated, with some districts wanting to see a new board and some having continued to have confidence.

SVT Sport is looking for Katarina Henriksson and Helena Rosén Andersson.
